My very first shoot with Aisha is one that I will never forget. I remember being super excited and nervous all at the same time. She told me we would shoot a test shoot and go through the raw images afterwards to see if my work was good enough. If you are a photographer, you will know that NO ONE EVER feels comfortable showing their raw images to a client, but I agreed any how and was very relieved when she liked the images before I had even edited them!

I remember Aisha telling me that she was looking for someone who she could get on with as a friend as well as work with. I thought this was so strange, I mean, wouldn’t I just snap the pics and send them through? But Aisha was right, not only do you need to be on the same page as your co-worker but in this industry, you need more than just a photographer or client, you need a friend too. A friend who is loyal and can totally understand from bad hair days, moody days to sudden schedule changes! After working with Aisha’s blog for over a year now, I came across these images and giggled as I thought… “what a FAR way we have come!”
