SAFW – my experience

This post is a little delayed but I would like to share MY views in SAFW anyhow.

It was my first trip with the Baked The Blog Team and I was very excited to be a part of the SAFW experience.

Our trip was a quick two day job where we tried to fit in as many meetings, catch ups and lunches as possible as well as attend all of the shows at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We were lucky enough to stay at the hotel which made life ALOT easier for me as I didn’t have to carry all of my equipment around  but rather pop upstairs to our room if I needed anything.

Our day began at the air port where I snuck in these “travel diary shots” before boarding our plane. I even got to shoot a quick lookpost for Aisha!

Our plane was delayed by an hour so we rushed to our hotel after catching the Gautrain and started prepping for our first show!

At the show I took photos of the best streetstyle as well as creative shots of the runway outfits focusing on the hair, makeup and details of the dresses rather than the full outfits and model. The streetstyle images can be found on my facebook page but below if one of my faves I took of Jerri Mokgofe in action. I was happy to have caught that split second flash as he took a photo of one of his subjects!
