Face of Zuri

Zuri approached me some time ago to be a part of – and photograph their Face of Zuri Top 10.

I was honored to be a part of the judging panel and was able to get to know the girls better while photographing them.

The top 10 girls were all bubbly, beautiful, smart ladies who were flown to Cape Town from all over SA. We met at the House of Milq and Honey and began the pampering process early one Friday morning.

IMG_5060Once the girls’ hair and makeup was complete – by Ulricke Laubscher – they went to the Milq & Honey beauticians for their manicures and finally, after tons of selfies, snacks and chats they were styled in Milq & Honey by the Milq & Honey sisters themselves and ready for their shoots.

I photographed each contestant which assisted me with contributing to the judging panel as I got to know the girls, not only personality-wise but how well they worked infront of the camera. The winner of the competition would be modelling for them in future so it was important to consider their relationship with the camera too.

It was lovely to meet and work with the lovely ladies and the campaign team. Milq & Honey was THE perfect location and I am looking forward to seeing Amber and Patience in-store soon!
