I photographed this engagement shoot as a pre-wedding test to get the couple comfortable in front of the camera as well as for images for their invitations. We met on a perfect evening in the forest and began shooting summery images, playing with light and capturing moments rather than posing. I always give a little direction and then capture whatever happens in the moments after. It can be very overwhelming and scary for people to be in front of the camera so I always begin with a strong simple pose and work towards a more natural moment. 

Chevaun and Justin were great in front of the camera and I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in May!
