Meira visited Cape Town recently and we shot this sporty look near Kalk Bay. We wanted a sporty location but we didn’t want it to be too obvious so I suggested shooting with a tennis court behind us and not literally on the court.

I played around with blur and shots through the netting of the court and the above images were the result. The grey skies gave us a soft light and kept colours minimal so that Meira’s red nails and lips “popped” against the green backdrop of the tennis court.

I am shooting with Meira again soon and cannot wait!
