Camilla & Henry had a destination wedding and invited all of their closest friends and family from the UK to join them in celebrating their special day in Franschhoek, Cape Town.
The day began with the ladies getting ready in a beautiful B&B in Franschhoek while the men got ready and made their way to the local Brewery for some lunch & drinks before the ceremony. One of my favourite moments was when Camilla’s father arrived and helped her put on her shoes – what a special moment to capture.
The ceremony was held at the NG Kerk and the whole town heard Camilla’s arrival in the beautiful Rolls Royce as the church bells rang loudly.
After the ceremony, the wedding moved to Grande Provence to enjoy a reception under the trees. Ama Ambush played marimbas upon arrival to set the mood for the evening. After the family photos we ventured into the vineyards to photograph the couple – I always love this part of the event, it is also the first time that the couple are alone and able to chat about the ceremony and the fact that they are finally married! I usually direct them for a few shots and then capture a few natural moments as the couple chats, giggles and just enjoys a few minutes of peace before we enter the reception venue again…
Camilla & Henry, thank you for allowing us to capture your special day!
