I was so excited to shoot with Aisha Baker-Parnell again! This time we ventured out to “my side” of Cape Town, where we met up to shoot a few pics in the fresh, crisp morning light.

I’m always hiding away from the sun for moody, shade located shoots in the city so I was really excited when Aish sent me a reference where full sun was needed – and it was on the beach.

Aisha sourced some amazing props for her post about the new Dolce & Gabbana fragrance. It all worked so well in the location.

Because we shot a little later in the morning, I directed Aish to tilt her head up – this avoided harsh shadows under her eyes. I LOVED the side shadows that gave her the most amazing highlight on her cheek bones. This shoot got me very excited for summer shoots on the beach!! Aren’t you?!
