Last week I went alongside Baked the Blog to a Luxottica event in town at the most beautiful rooftop location. The event was one of the best I have attended and for the first time ever they were interested in myself as the photographer. What they realised was that I was the one who was going to make their brand look pretty and when I arrived they chatted to me about the great location and lighting as well as their top products which I feel is so important as Aisha and I are a team and the people at this event really treated us as equally important. Alongside Aisha’s amazing writing skills and honesty one should have the best looking images and they really understood that. Understanding the brand and location from their point of view really gave me a sense of direction when shooting instead of simply capturing the venue and details from my photographic eye.
