Checkered Reflections

Checkered Reflections:

Pushing the boundaries and  getting creative in the most cliche locations is one of my favourite things to do. We decided to see what we could do with a popular shoot location in Cape Town- the promenade. Have a look at how we photographed at this location to eliminate the typical images taken at the promenade- otherwise known as “cliche” images. It’s all about breaking away from the norm and showing what ELSE can be done.

Aisha and I photographed this lovely, bright, summery outfit a little while ago. I was completely obsessed with the checkered promenade floor and enjoyed playing around with movement (for the sporty shoes) and reflections to add some edge to her amazing sunnies!

I have been in Port Elizabeth for the past week on a working holiday and will be sure to post about all of the shoots I have been doing while away. Lots of events are scheduled for upload too including the Mr Price Henry Holland & Friends event. In the meantime, visit my “Spotted” tab to see the friendly faces I socialised with at the event and other fashion locations.

Have a lovely week!
