Highlights of 2014

Before sharing my new work I thought I would post about a few of my top favorite shoots for 2014:

In no specific order:

 2

Elrico & Ritza’s special day was set in the farmlands, surrounded by vineyards. We shot in perfect light which resulted in a lot of soft, warm images.

3

I photographed Courtney Cousins for her new website and clothing line a little while ago! She is the kindest, most photogenic personality – I always love shooting with her and am looking forward to more collabs this year. For this particular shot, we almost got locked out of her car! Luckily the roof was down and Courtney leaned over to grab her keys. What a day it would have been had we not put the roof down!! Cellphones, keys and wallets all in the car! We had a good laugh!

The best part about my shoots are what goes on behind the scenes, I have had some exciting, hair raising and adventurous BHS moments!

4

I photographed the VADA catalogue as well as their “Royalty” campaign and am looking forward to this years campaign as we have some amazing ideas and locations set!

5

I became a Vida e caffe ambassador and photographed in store many times. This shoot was by far my fave, clearly portraying the typical vida coffee addict!

6

I flew to JHB for Sliq Media and photographed content for their blog/website/magazine. I met the most amazing people: owner of Babatunde, Vicky Crease, Gina Myers, owner of Tannamika and more! My top fave shoot was with Shashi Naidoo. She looked absolutely gorgeous, in her three outfits – I am dying to release the final look but have to wait for it to be released online and in print first!

7

I photographed many events for Ford SA, the Remake Challenge winners and Ford Eco being one of my faves!

8

I worked on many shoots for Aisha Baker, this one for Minnetonka being my favourite which got chosen to be on the Minnetonka USA website/Blog. What an honor!

9

I flew to PE and met and photographed Sophie, owner of Fox and Lime blog as well as a jewelry designer. She has the most amazing silver rings!!

10

I photographed the winner and top 10 ladies for the Zuri – Face of Zuri Campaign. It was a lovely day with snacks, giggles, social media and my first video interview… eek!

It was strange, but exciting to see my work in-store as large posters and floating installations!

11

I photographed Natalie Becker for the Treatment Room – a fun, bubbly team of beauticians who were as beautiful and easy to work with as Natalie.

12

I photographed many events this year and was truly lucky to meet the people I did! I photographed portraits and street style at all of the events, the above image being my favorite of “Mooslie” taken at the 4th Street Wine event.

13

This shoot was for Miss23 Clothing. I loved it because of a) the team – I always love working with the team and being creative b) the amazing boxing ring location we were able to organize!

14

I photographed fashion week CT – always a win for me who LOVES shooting fashion on the streets and seeing what the designers have up their sleeves!15

I photographed the launch of the Mustang in JHB. This beauty arrives in SA this year, what a stunning night it was. I also got to bring along my best friend who lives in JHB and introduce her to the fabulous group that I flew up with.16

I photographed the Legs Eleven ambassadors (above: Angel – comedian) The final edits can be seen on my website. Go check it out!17

Snapping portraits of models at fashion week & fashion week media events… LOVE18

Beauty with DV Makeup in the black studio was definitely a highlight. DV Makeup is one of the few artists I know who literally makes her own lip colors and really gets creative. She is SO talented, its no wonder she is jet-setting all over the world. A stunning person inside and out!19

I photographed Uwe Koetter Jewellery with a shiny black Harley Davidson. This shoot was set in an underground carpark. It was difficult shooting with the delicate jewelry and bike as we had to be very careful at all times, but we got the shots we needed and had fun while doing so!

20

I photographed garments for a final grad fashion student. I love this grungey shoot!

10

All of the above shoots can be found on my blog, website or Facebook page. I wish I could put all of my 2014 shoots in this post – each shoot was special to me and can be found on any of my social network platforms. I hope you enjoyed viewing some of my highlights and I look forward to working with you all in 2015.

Happy New Year All!
