Giulia & Kyle’s Wedding

I have teamed up with a Wedding Photography Company this year which has won the Top SA Wedding Photographer of the Year award. After shooting the odd wedding last year and being inundated with emails requiring my wedding photography I have decided to photograph weddings as part of my photographic services. For this particular wedding I was second shooter for the Awesome Photography Company.

I began shooting at the Groom’s house as he dressed for the day and spent time with his groomsmen. I then left a very calm and happy Groom and made my way to the venue.

The venue:

The wedding was set in Noordhoek at Cape Point Vineyards, one of my favourite locations in Cape Town. Surrounded by vineyards, horses and a beautiful little dam, this venue is any photographers dream location. There were so many different locations for the couples shoot session, and the owner was kind enough to bring her horses to us for a few pics.

The decor:

Rustic elegance was the theme for the day with mis-matched jars, lace, wood, rusted buckets, candles and succulents filling the room. Fairy lights and flowers added a feminine elegance to the decor while succulent favors allowed guests to “watch their love grow”. A personalized Photo Booth to fit the theme of the day was set up in the corner of the room for guests to snap quirky photos and send notes to the bride and groom. The Awesome Photography Company did an amazing job setting up and personalizing the Photo Booth to fit Giulia and Kyle’s wedding theme.

Congratulations Giulia and Kyle! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special evening and capture timeless memories.

Keep a look out on the Awesome Photography Company page for the final edits of the wedding. The above photos are simply a sneak peek from a second shooters lens – ME.
