I finally have a moment to write about my shoot with the K2 Twins, Alex & Charlie. The two contacted me about a photoshoot some time ago & I was honored to find out that I would be their first female photographer. We set a date for the shoot and planned locations and mood boards until the day of the shoot arrived.

The twins were great to work with and their manager was extremely organized with a shot list and mood board to make sure that the shoot ran smoothly & according to schedule. It makes a huge difference on set when everyone is organized and on time.

The day began in studio where we shot different outfits and played around with poses and movement. Loren Henderson did an amazing job at styling them and the twins were great in front of the camera.

I enjoyed shooting in studio for a change as most of my shoots are location based (natural light is what I am passionate about).

All images from this shoot are unedited apart from the odd change to black and white. The twins prefer true images of themselves, no air brushing or enhancing.

After the studio, we made our way to the city for some coffee and street style images.

I love arriving at a location and finding the best places and angles to shoot at. I enjoy the challenge of getting the very best out of a space. Although our location had specific shots that I needed to capture, I added my photographic style to the images – shooting with lights and reflections in the background as well as capturing a lot of unposed, natural moments.

Finally, we were off to the beach – I was looking forward to this part of the shoot the most because I had not shot on the beach in ages! This was also the part of the shoot that I had the most creative freedom.
