This shoot featured a few of my favourite things when composing a photo: reflections, vintage clothing, textures & blue tones. I snapped these pics while the tidal pool was glassy before a strange man decided to wade through our perfect mirror-like back drop as he looked for lost items using his metal detecter. Funny things like these always happen on my shoots and it really creates a nice behind the scenes story. We took it as a sign to move on to another shot and a different angle. Tokelo is always willing to shoot at any time and any place in order to get quality images for her blog. She is one of the few bloggers who is willing to shoot at 7am and the result is this gorgeous light which we had for 10 minutes as the sun peaked over a Sea Point building…
