Sunset Fields

I shot for Bernie K. recently who was styled by Lee Fraser. Lee styled her in this gorgeous mustard dress which suited our location perfectly. Bernie wanted a flowing dress to model in and a dress like this is a dream come true when I shoot with first time models. Your first photoshoot can be very daunting and models tend to be quite nervous. Along with some art direction and a few things I do to make them feel more comfortable, they forget about the camera and their talent shines through. Dresses like these are always encouraged as I often ask them to play with it and use it as a prop, directing their focus to the dress and not the camera. It always results in the below images where we capture movement, a moment and a feeling …. well done Bernie, you were amazing!
