SA Fashion Week

While shooting for Sliq Media in JHB I exteneded my stay one day longer to attend the opening party and first night of SA Fashion Week.

It was so lovely to see everyone, JHB really is a beautiful place with the most friendly, inspiring people! The opening party was held at Katy’s Palace, the latest “place to be”, I can understand why as it has stunning views of the city and the decor is just to die for!!

The party was sponsored by Jameson and provided Jameson cocktails and champaign while we enjoyed snacks created by Vicky Crease (who I was honored to meet and photograph last week with Sliq Media).

I caught up with all of my fashion faves, snapped some amazing outfits infront of the Jameson backdrop and was entertained by a performance from A.K.A.

I had THE most amazing time in JHB and will definitely be back soon. Things to look forward to this month: final edits from all blogger shoots, sneak peeks from Sliq Media shoots and more!

I was hoping to cover SA Fashion Week at the Crown Plaza this year, but missed the first night due to a flat tyre, and had to leave for CT on Thursday in order to shoot a Topshop event that evening.
