Finally, a few minutes to share some of my latest work on my blog!!
I recently photographed the winners of the Ford Remake Challenge. According Remake, “The Live Eco Remake Design Challenge is a sustainable design competition that challenges students and emerging designers to create mainstream clothing and objects whilst adhering to sustainable design principles and eliminating waste in their production methods.”
I attended the event which anounced the winners of this competition two days before I photographed them. It was great to meet the winners on the night and get a feel for their designs and personality so that the shoot went smoothly and portrayed their true personality and design style.
Snacks and coffee were provided by Vida e Caffe and a delicious cider was also available while we looked at all of the designs and awaited the announcement of the winners. In the object category, Lara Hooper won; and Liam Power won in his category of fashion. I was honored to be selected to photograph the two winners and their designs alongside the Ford Eco. Below are a few final edits, please visit the Ford Facebook page and other social media platforms to see the rest of the images and a high res, quality version of the below images:
I aimed for a high contrast, structured image for Liam’s shoot to compliment his strong, structured, masculine designs and photographed a softer, more feminine image for Lara.
What did you think?
