Aisha and I met up for a strategy meeting… which usually involves a vast amount of catch up talk, guy talk and subjects completely unrelated to work finishing off with a “we MUST have a meeting soon” and scheduling in another excuse for a good cup of coffee and more opportunity to catch up on each others news.
Our meeting location was Four and Twenty based in Chelsea, Wynberg. The food looked delish and the coffee was top quality. I enjoyed our time there so much that I invited my best friends to tea the following Saturday where I took the chance to try out their scones and, well, more coffee! It was then that I found out that the restaurant is run by two lovely ladies who happened to be related to my best friend… how small the world can be at times?! Because Aisha and I have been so busy lately, we always take the opportunity to shoot an outfit whenever we see each other. No shoot opportunity is wasted!
If you have been reading my posts you will know that I do not simply shoot an outfit, I create a story. I captured a story about our meeting, getting details and spaces that caught my eye as I arrived. I loved the details such as the colanders as lights which completed the decor of the restaurant, the bicycle at the door etc. I photographed Aisha’s coffee, her working and what it looked like to passers by.
Have a look at http://www.bakedtheblog.com for her outfit details. I loved how her shoes fitted in with the location: pretty and feminine which she paired with a red leather jacket to add some edge!
